Communities in Schools of North Texas Denton High School

The Mission of Communities In Schools of North Texas is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Communities In Schools of North Texas is an affiliate of a national nonprofit organization that is the leading dropout prevention program in the U.S. Our goal is to decrease the rate of students who drop out of school and increase the number of students who are promoted and ultimately graduate from high school.  Achieving this milestone is a critical in taking steps toward future success.

We utilize all kinds of resources from the community to help remove barriers that keep students from being successful. One of our great resources are volunteers. If you would like to volunteer with CISNT as a mentor or academic coach, please visit our website www.cisnt.org/volunteer to access information how to volunteer or access the volunteer tab on this page.
